Dynamic Compaction (DC)

Dynamic Compaction (DC) is a cost-effective soil stabilization technique that improves the density of loose soils, thereby enhancing their mechanical properties to support construction. Offering a budget-friendly alternative to deep foundations or soil replacement, DC involves the repeated dropping of heavy steel weights from heights up to 25 meters, with weights reaching up to 25 tons, at regular intervals to achieve the desired soil compaction level.
