Vibro-Replacement (Stone Columns)

The Vibro-Replacement (VR) method is highly effective for enhancing soft soil conditions, including silty sand, silts, clays, and varied fills, with the capability of reaching depths of up to 20 meters. This approach strengthens the soil's load-bearing potential and diminishes both settlement and the chance of liquefaction. By inserting stone columns throughout the target area in either triangular or rectangular configurations, ground stability is significantly increased. This technique, which has been in use in Europe since the 1950s, is tailored to the specific column depth, diameter, and quantity based on the local soil composition.
